Vacant roles
ANZSOG is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as our inaugural Practice Fellow, First Nations & Māori Impact. This senior, part-time role (8-12 days per month) will provide strategic guidance, purposeful engagement and expert insight to strengthen First Nations & Māori perspectives in public governance. Over an initial 1-year term, the Practice Fellow’s work program will traverse three priorities:
- leadership and development of a new ANZSOG First Nations & Māori strategy, aligned with ANZSOG Strategy 2030 and the challenges and priorities of government transformation, a strategy which will guide a comprehensive and integrated work and growth program across the School;
- guiding ANZSOG’s commitment as a learning organisation to elevating the leadership of First Nations and Māori public servants and building the skills, mindsets and capabilities within the public sector that are integral to improving the policies and services that affect First Nations and Māori communities; and
- advising ANZSOG’s leadership on cultural and strategic matters.
We are looking for an experienced leader with deep expertise in First Nations and Māori governance and government transformation, a strong track record in strategic leadership, and the ability to integrate cultural perspectives into public sector policies, leadership development and organisations. The ideal candidate will have experience in facilitation and engagement, thought leadership, and providing strategic advice to senior executives and boards. This is a unique opportunity to build capability and advance meaningful outcomes for First Nations and Māori communities.
